  • Real-time and Historical Pricing
    The value of the index is available through the American Stock Exchange and many financial internet sites. It is disseminated every 15 seconds over the Consolidated Tape Association's Network B between the hours of approximately 9:30am and 4:15 pm. Historical pricing back to July 6, 2004 and charting is available on most financial internet sites.

    The Index became live on July 6, 2004 and has been backtested through December 30, 1997 using a 'blind' backtest process wherein the companies were chosen to gain the effects of mergers and acquisitions over time without the results of the backtest being known.
